Dr. Laith-Al-Rubaiy is a board-certified consultant gastroenterologist and hepatologist with training and experience in the UK. He sees patients with a wide range of digestive tract, liver, and bowel issues. He currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Medicine at Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and as an Honorary Professor at Swansea University School of Medicine in the United Kingdom. He has a particular interest in developing and using patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) in everyday clinical care. He has written extensively and delivered numerous presentations on health-related quality of life for patients with liver and gastrointestinal conditions. His work has been recognized with several prestigious national and local awards, including being named the "Young Gastroenterologist of the Year" in the UK in 2017.
