With 22 years of experience, she specializes in pediatric emergency and critical care, serving as a senior consultant and medical superintendent. Dr Joji obtained her MBBS from Trivandrum Medical College, Kerala, and pursued further qualifications including a Diploma in Child Health from Royal Hospital, Oman, DNB from Sree Avittom Thirunal, Trivandrum, and a Diploma in Allergy and Asthma from CMC Vellore. She is an active member of prestigious medical associations such as the Indian Medical Association, the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine, and the Indian Academy of Pediatrics.
